Forces of Nature

re-integrate your whole self through transformative connection with the wild

Nature is a mirror

through which we can

see and love all of ourselves.

For many of us, accepting, loving and embodying parts of our nature did not come easily. Because of our childhoods, our culture, early relationships, religion and experiences of grief and loss, we may have cut off parts of ourselves in order to belong.

These might be our strength, our vulnerablity, our wildness, our joy, our ease.

As we have aged, raised children, built careers, we may have completely forgotten these innate qualities, and we may sense that something in our lives is missing.

No matter what life is asking of us— no matter how painful or scary or expansive, Earth is here to hold us.

But when we journey into nature, and witness her wholeness— her strength, her flow, her wildness, her vast space, her power— we can begin to welcome those parts of us back, too.

Forces of Nature

is here to help you trust again.

Every month, we gather for a Guided Nature Journey, in and around the Bay Area of Northern California.

We gather, each month, in community to consciously connect with the Earth, to explore the ways She is supporting our healing and becoming, and explore and embody creative expression generated from this deep communion.

Every month, we focus on re-integrating a force of nature back into our own bodies. Through these journeys, we remember our own wholeness. We remember that our strength, our clarity, our radiance, our eros, our anger, our roots, are part of what makes us human.

Our signature offering is a monthly

Guided Nature Journey

Through these experiences, we:

  • Remember nature as a source of comfort and strength during challenging times (and expansive ones!) and connect to her forces for our own healing

  • Deepen our sensory awareness and skill at being present

  • Reawaken our creativity, childlike play and sense of wonder

  • Learn to trust nature, so that we can trust ourselves and other humans again

  • Allow nature to re-inspire our sense of awe at the human experience

  • Enjoy the company of other humans who are equally drawn to a soul-focused life

A gathering of humans who crave intentional communion with the forces of nature as tools for emotional regulation, intuitive guidance, and creative inspiration.

Every month, we let a different

force of nature guide us.

Hi! I’m Lori Ann—

So happy to meet you here!

My journey home to myself began 10 years ago when I immersed myself into the study of healing arts and the exploration into my true soul.

It began with a slow craving, and then a constant call, that there was something more I needed to know about myself, about my journey here with Mother Earth, and as a way into deep healing.

I discovered I was trying to find myself through the external realms, and after a series of failed relationships, love & loss, I was left wondering what was next. I knew I needed a deeper support system.

“It was ME all along… my inner beloved, calling me back home.”

My heart first called me to Yoga & healing art studies, where I received my 300RYT, Yoga Nidra certification, and Reiki Level 1. My craving for more self-knowledge continued through studies in Flower Essence medicine and Vishoka meditation on the Big Island of Hawaii.

As I dove even deeper, my most WISE teacher and source of inspiration emerged – Mother Nature herself! Among the giant redwood trees, and beside the ocean’s salty wild waves, I discovered my fullest self, over and over again. She held me and guided me, providing raw beauty, strength and trust. She taught me the gentle ebb and flow from inner healing to inspiration & creativity. Nature became my medicine, my own source of therapy.

My journey with Nature continues to hold me in love, re-awakening, trust, remembrance of my wild & playful spirit, and letting my creative force ignite from within me. Nature is my teacher, guiding me back home to myself.
